It's all about Fun and Friendship

 

 

 

 

Although we work hard in the commnunity to support local events and causes, an important part of being a part of the Lions family is that we have fun whilst doing so, building new friendships and socializing together makes for a more harmonious club.

 

We organise : -

 

• Meals out
• A themed summer party or BBQ

• Ten Pin Bowling Evenings

• A Christmas Meal

• An evening picnic at the Lichfield Proms in the park concert

• Handover event

 

 

 

 

Bowling Night at Tamworth

 

Twenty members from both Barton and Lichfield Clubs joined together for a fun night of 10 Pin Bowling at Tamworth Bowl. A good meal at Clydes restaurant and a few drinks from the bar was followed by a hard fought battle between players of all abilities. Lots of laugher and fun was had by all and helped to underpin our ethos of fun and friendship.

 

The final winner was Mike Knight of Lichfield Lions. Well done Mike!

 

 

 

 

Handover Dinner 2024

 

Our lovely friendly club members met for our annual handover dinner at The Forresters restaurant in Yoxall, where our outgoing President became our current President! We all celebrated Pam Trevena on becoming our President once again for another year. A relaxed evening was had by all with some delicious food and great company.

 

Well done Barton Lions on another great year, and another great one to follow!
