All our members are volunteers who come from all walks of life and have a shared passion to help people where we can.

Most of the volunteering we carry out is in our immediate area  where we try to address the needs of our local community. We do this by raising funds to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and volunteering our help and supporting at local events and initiatives to enhance the lives of those who live in our village and the surrounding area.

Some of the more recent events we have been involved with are: -

  • Providing a meet and greet and steward  role at the G4 Lichfield Cathedral concert in aid of Missing People Charity
  • Marshalling and manning refreshment stalls at the Junior Activity Alliance Games in Coventry stadium
  • Marshalling and providing tea & cakes at Yoxall Open Gardens event
  • Running a stall and providing car parking stewards at the Rangemoor Onion Festival
  • Marshalling at the Mardi Gras festival in Barton
  • Running a stall and providing car parking stewards at the Barton Teddy Bear Festival
  • Marshalling at Newborough Well Dressing day

It's a great and fun way to get to know different people in your vicinity and to get involved with what is happening in your area and to truly help and support local individuals and organisations.

Why not come along to one of our meetings to meet us and find out more.
